11-minute documentary on the town’s 50 years will precede Brentwood’s Movie in the Park

Disney’s Mary Poppins Returns is featured at the city’s Movie in the Park on Saturday, April 27.

But before the feature begins, the “Brentwood at 50 Years” documentary will be featured, highlighting Brentwood’s 50th year as an incorporated city. The video, produced by the Brentwood Historic Commission and the city, features several Brentwood residents discussing Brentwood’s past, present, and future.

The movies will be played on a 24’ by 13’ inflatable movie screen inside the Eddy Arnold Amphitheater at Crockett Park beginning at 7 p.m. Food trucks will begin serving at 5 p.m. Trucks confirmed to attend include Doxie’s PizzaUgly Burgers and Bradley’s Creamery. Residents should bring blankets or lawn chairs for seating and arrive with plenty of time to park prior to show time.

The program is sponsored by the Brentwood Parks and Recreation Department.
