Brentwood families welcome Christmas with cookies, music and light

Christmas is official in Brentwood.

The 19th annual community Christmas tree was illuminated on Monday evening in front of the recently renamed John P. Holt Brentwood Library.

The Ravenwood High School Choir performed during the tree lighting ceremony, and Brentwood Mayor Jill Burgin served as master of ceremonies.

After the tree was aglow, snacks were served inside the library and music was offered by members of the Williamson County Youth Orchestra.

Saturday, Dec. 9 is the official night to display luminaries in Brentwood neighborhoods.
