Congressman-elect Mark Green will be visiting Franklin on December 11 to host an open town hall meeting, discussing issues facing the 116th Congress while taking comments and feedback from the community.
The Franklin town hall will be held at the Williamson County Administrative Complex from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., and is open to the public.
“As a state senator, I held town halls across my district before session every year to hear from constituents so I can better represent them,” Green said in a statement. “I’m excited to continue these as we head to Congress. I hope everyone will come and let us know how they feel about the issues.”
The visit to Franklin is just one of six planned town halls to be held across Tennessee’s 7th District, where Green will be visiting everywhere from Selmer to Waverly, all in the span of three days.
Green and his team have also launched an online survey for the purpose of better understanding what issues are most important to residents. The survey may be taken by clicking here.
