The semi-annual Friends of the Nolensville Library book sale is kicking off soon.
The sale will get started at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 10 in the gym of the Historic Nolensville School. It will run from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. from Tuesday through Friday, April 13. On Saturday, it will be open from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The Friends of the Nolensville Library’s sales benefit public programming and materials at the Nolensville Branch Library.
These programs include the library’s summer reading program, annual egg hunt and special holiday-themed story times, among other things.
“The library couldn’t offer these community services without help,” the Facebook page for the sale reads. “Your purchases help fund them.”
The sale will feature a large variety of different genres of books in both hardback and paperback. It will also include other media, like CDs, audiobooks and DVDs.
At past sales, prices have ranged from $2 for hardcover books to 25 cents for small kids books and mass market paperbacks. The last day of the sale usually gives shoppers the opportunity to fill up a bag of books for a flat $5 price.
The last day of this year’s sale, Saturday, April 14, coincides with the Town of Nolensville’s Buttercup Festival.
Donations of books or other assorted media are accepted at the Nolensville Branch Library year-round.
The Friends of the Nolensville Library puts on this sale twice a year.
