Nolensville board to discuss rezoning, beer consumption at first meeting in new year

The Nolensville Board of Mayor and Alderman will hold its first meeting of 2019 at Nolensville Town Hall on Jan. 3 at 7 p.m.

Following the November election, the board will be sworn in at the start of the meeting, which is open to the public. There is one new Alderman, Derek Adams.

Along with usual town business, the board will hear three resolutions.

For the second time, the board will hear Ordinance 18-08 to approve a master concept to plan and rezone the Parman Henry property from estate residential to suburban residential with a planned unit development overlay between Rocky Fork Road and York Road.

It will also hear for the second time Ordinance 18-12 to amend a portion of the Nolensville Municipal Code pertaining to on-premises beer consumption.

Finally, the board will hear its own Resolution 19-01 to change the name of a portion of road within town limits.
