Nolensville leaders approve beer permit for new Mexican restaurant

By RACHAEL LONG

The Town of Nolensville approved an on-premise beer permit last week for soon-to-open Cabos Mexican Restaurant in Nolensville.

Jesus Onate, a representative for the restaurant, appeared before the Board of Mayor and Aldermen Thursday night to apply for the beer permit.

He didn’t give a firm opening date, but Onate told town leaders that they hoped to open in the coming week.

“We’re getting everything finished off, pretty much,” Onate said. “Just plates, pots and pans, and just getting everything set up.”

This will be another restaurant within a larger network of restaurants in Middle Tennessee, Onate said, including El Sombrero in Lenox Village and Camino Real in Murfreesboro.

The restaurant will be located at 7336 Nolensville Road in suite 204.
