Nolensville was selected by the online regional infotainment company based on recent census and FBI data, as well as information which analyzes a city’s crime rates, job opportunities and salaries, affordable housing, schools and commute times.
HomeSnacks ranks cities, neighborhoods, counties and states across America to give people an idea of what it’s like to live in each community. Other popular studies include the Safest Cities in America, Worst Places to Live, Richest Cities Across America and more.
Nolensville was also ranked as HomeSnacks’ Richest City in Tennessee, a move two places up in its rank from last year. The city of Brentwood also made that list, pulling fourth place in rank. While the median income of Brentwood is more than $151,000 — a larger figure than Nolensville’s $120,000(+), HomeSnacks shows a higher poverty rate in Brentwood (2.9%) over Nolensville (1.6%).
HomeSnacks’ Richest Place to Live list was compiled after analyzing data from the 2013-2017 American Community Survey for the 95 places in Tennessee with more than 5,000 people.
Data analysts at HomeSnacks also took a look at Nolensville’s individual demographics and other livability statistics, or it’s “Snackability.” Out of 10, Nolensville achieved an overall Snackability score of 9, after receiving individual ratings on the following areas:
- Jobs — 9.5/10
- Housing — 9.5/10
- Safety — 8/10
- Amenities — 7/10
- Affordability — 6/10
- Diversity — 8/10
- Education — 10/10
- Commute — 4/10
