John Spence Drueke, age 77, of the Leiper’s Fork community, died February 6, 2019.
John was born in Jackson, Tennessee, on Aug 9, 1941, to the late Joseph Spence Drueke and Alta Mae Maxwell Drueke. He was a Lithographer, a Veteran of the U.S. Army, and a member of the Hillsboro United Methodist Church. John loved his church, and his family, music, gardening and the out of doors.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Bernard Drueke. Survived by brother, Ted (Frances Garner) Drueke; sister, Alta Cornell Vetter; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family will be from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday Feb 9, 2019, with the service at 2 p.m. at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Pastor Betty Proctor-Bjorgo officiating. Tom Herring will give the reading. Burial to follow in Leiper’s Fork Cemetery. Praying Men of Leiper’s Fork will serve as pallbearers.
