Marjorie Andrews Hardcastle, age 99 (one month shy of her 100th birthday), of
Franklin, Tennessee, passed away on Feb. 11, 2018.
She was the eldest member of Cedar Creek Yacht Club, and a member of the Old Glory Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was an avid pianist and continued to play daily. In her early years she would play at various venues in Nashville, Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Loy George Hardcastle, Sr.; daughter, Alice Elizabeth Hardcastle; grandson, Greg Hardcastle; parents, Thomas Hilton and Nancy Elizabeth McMurtry Andrews and brother, Leroy Hilton Andrews. Survived by: sons, Loy George, Jr. (Cathy) Hardcastle and Stanley Thomas “Stan” (Denise) Hardcastle; daughter, Cheryl Kay Hardcastle Petty; grandchildren, Christopher Dennis (Blair Bramlett) Petty and Stephanie Hardcastle (Jeremy) Johnson; great grandchildren, Jefferson and Julianna Johnson; nephew, Thomas Hilton “Tommy” Andrews; nieces, Gwen Jones Stidham and Ruth Ann Hardcastle Harris and other loving family members.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018, at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Jim Taylor officiating. Interment is at Williamson Memorial Gardens. Family will serve as active pallbearers. Honorary
pallbearers will be former employees of Hardcastle Motor Co. and members of The Exotics Band.
