Former Page High School softball ace and Alabama commit Jenna Johnson will soon join a roster comprised of the best high school softball players in the country.
Johnson shared this week that she’ll be participating in the 2019 Premier Girls Fastpitch High School All-American Game.
The outfielder said she’s “blessed to be one of two people representing the state of Tennessee” in a Tweet.
Johnson is part of the East team, which will face off against the West team in the big contest.
The former Lady Patriots standout signed a letter of intent with the Crimson Tide last fall.
“We are thrilled to get a young lady the caliber of Jenna to join our family,” Alabama head coach Patrick Murphy said at the time of the signing. “She filled a big need in being a right-handed hitting outfielder.”
Siegel’s Caitlyn McCrary, a Tennessee commit, joins Johnson in hailing from Tennessee.
Her future Alabama teammate, pitcher Alexis Kilfoyl, will join her on Team East.
The PGF game will be played at DeAnna Manning Stadium in Irvine, Ca., and broadcast live on ESPN U on July 27.
