The Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival continues on into its fifth year, and will bring a host of exciting talents to the Farm at Harlinsdale.
Stadium rockers the Foo Fighters will headline the festival alongside local country sensation Keith Urban, R&B artist Leon Bridges and 00s alt-rock outfit The Killers.
Alt favorites Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats and The Head and the Heart, Christian artist Lauren Daigle, 90s band +Live+, singer-songwriter Jenny Lewis, Better than Ezra (which features festival co-founder and programmer Kevin Griffin), local artist Phosphorescent and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band round up the notable names in the lineup.
“Pilgrimage truly showcases all that middle Tennessee has to offer: all genres of music, the best artisans and makers and incredible cuisine all in a family-friendly atmosphere that ends by 8:30 p.m. each night,” Griffin said in the announcement release.
“I’m most excited for the ‘pilgri-mashups’ we’ve come to expect over the years featuring incredible collaborations such as Justin Timberlake and Chris Stapleton, Preservation Hall and Willie Nelson, Ruby Amanfu and Weezer, and Holly Williams and Sheryl Crow. With the diversity in this year’s lineup, who knows what could happen!”
Tickets for the Sept. 21-22 show go on sale at Pilgrimage’s website on Friday, March 15, at 10:00 a.m.
“The annual announcement of the talent to perform at the Pilgrimage Festival is always an exciting day,” Franklin Mayor Ken Moore said in the release.
“We have a great working relationship with the festival organizers and appreciate the positive contributions they make to our community. I look forward to the talent line-up for this family-focused festival this year.”
