Franklin Police have announced they are searching for the man who fired multiple shots into a vehicle in Franklin last week.

On Thursday evening, the Franklin Police Department filed an attempted criminal homicide warrant on three counts against 22-year-old Marquece Crawford after he reportedly fired several times into a car occupied by three acquaintances.

Lt. Charles Warner said no one was hit by the gunfire. “It was a bit miraculous, actually,” he said.

The incident occurred at 2:45 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, on Good Neighbors Road, located between Downs Boulevard and West Main Street.

Warner said though Crawford has lived at several different locations in Franklin, none of those involved in the shooting lived on the street.

Crawford is considered armed & dangerous. “He needs to be behind bars,” Warner said.
