Registration for Williamson County fencing clinic open

Williamson County youth will soon have an opportunity to try the Renaissance-era sport, fencing.

Registration for a beginner level fencing clinic is now open, for coed youth ages 7 to 17.

The clinic will be held at Crockett Park’s indoor arena on Tuesdays and Thursdays nights from March 5 through April 11.

Fencing is a fast-growing sport in Williamson county. Along with the rules of the sport, the clinic will teach basic footwork and posture, scoring, weaponry and safety rules.

The cost is $125, which includes equipment rental for two levels. Interested participants can register online with activity #13243.

The indoor arena at Crockett Park is located at 1485 Volunteer Pkwy., in Brentwood.
