ROUNDUP: Fun things to do to in Nolensville on a cold weekend

Winter continues with a vengeance this weekend in Nolensville, with reports projecting showers of rain and wet snow on Saturday and a low of 24 degrees.

Sunday looks brighter with partly cloudy skies and a high of 34 degrees.

But inclement weather won’t keep Nolensville residents down. Here’s a look at what’s going on this weekend.

Nolensville Elementary Boys Night

Where: Nolensville Elementary School, 2338 Rocky Fork Rd, Nolensville, TN 37135

When: Friday, 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.

For Nolensville Elementary School boys and moms only, the Nolensville Elementary PTO is hosting a boys night at the school for an evening of fun. The night will feature games of dodgeball and cornhole, as well as a scavenger hunt, snacks and even a photo opportunity for selfies.

3v3 Recreation Soccer League

Where: Nolensville Sports Arena, 7235 Haley Industrial Drive, Nolensville, Tennessee 37135

When: Saturday, 8 a.m. – 11 a.m.

Check out the action as the Nolensville Sports Arena hosts its weekly indoor 3v3 soccer recreation league on Saturday mornings. Choose a team to root for with the schedule for each week, which can be found online. Winter Roar Launch Party!

Where: Wheeler’s Raid Distilling, 2007 Johnson Industrial Blvd, Nolensville TN 37135

When: Saturday, 4 p.m. – 10 p.m.

The team at Wheeler’s Raid Distilling is hosting a launch party for its canned cocktail line, 34NorthCocktailsCo. The event will feature distillery tours, live music, free tastings and drink tokens for sale. Food trucks like The Grilled Cheeserie and Hoss Loaded Burgers will also be available.

To beat the cold fronts, the distillery has a heated indoor space, a heated tent and no cover charge. Admission is free.

Parent’s Night Out

Where: Summit Sports Center, 2015 B Johnson Industrial Boulevard, Nolensville, TN 37135

When: Saturday, 6 p.m. – 10 p.m.

Parents — do you need a night to yourselves? Summit Sports Center will take children ages 4 and up off your hands for a night of fun, for you and the kids.

For a flat fee of $25 per child, the team at Summit Sports Center promise to entertain your kiddos with time on equipment, games, movie time, food and drink, and maybe even a NERF battle (by request). To sign up and pay, visit the website here.

Registration Now Open for Elite Dance classes

Where: Elite Dance, Music & Art, 7177 Nolensville Road, Nolensville, TN

When: Registration open — special deadline Jan. 20

Children aged 5-7 can now take advantage of a free trial for a tap, ballet and jazz combination class at Elite Dance, Music & Art.
