Santa’s Trees, with the support of U.S. Bank and H.G. Hill Realty Company, donated $7,500 to Brentwood High School on Wednesday as part of its more than 20-year tradition of supporting the school.

Santa’s Trees also donated $3,500 to Centennial High School in Franklin in on the same day.

Operating in the Nashville area for more than 30 years, Santa’s Trees is a Christmas tree provider and seller that has donated a share of its profits to Middle Tennessee schools for decades.

Every customer who comes to see us has a smile on their face and is ready to celebrate the season,” said head of Santa’s Trees Jim McLeod. “We love seeing local families each year and being a part of their tradition, so it’s wonderful to give back to the community with these yearly donations.”

The $7,500 check was presented to Brentwood High School principal Kevin Keidel Wednesday afternoon, who said the funds would be used to help purchase everything from band instruments to lab specimens.

“We really appreciate the generous donation from Santa’s Trees,” Keidel said. “Each year the donation is combined with other PTO funds to purchase technology, teaching materials, lab specimens, band instruments, athletic equipment and other items for the school. We are grateful for the wonderful partnership we have with Santa’s Trees, H.G. Hill Realty, and U.S. Bank.”

In Franklin, McLeod met with Centennial High School principal Chris Hames Wednesday morning that same day, presenting him with a check for $3,5000.

“Centennial High School is thankful for this long-standing partnership between Santa’s Trees, Brookside and Walgreens in support of Cougar Nation,” Hames said. “These funds help us support our students and also allow us to make improvements to our facility in ways that might not happen without the generous support of these community partners.”

In addition to Centennial and Brentwood High Schools, Santa’s Trees has also donated funds to Hillsboro High School, East Magnet School, Rutland and Gladeville elementary schools, with more than a quarter of a million dollars donated to date.

Santa’s Trees is open until December 24, and has multiple locations in Williamson County including lots in Brentwood, Franklin and Mount Juliet. For a detailed list of locations, click here.
