NHS faculty nominated Faith Nash for their Knights Making a Difference program this week.
Faith Nash, daughter of Melody and Jason Nash, is a sophomore at Nolensville High School and this week’s Student of the Week.
She is involved in theatre at NHS and plays the guitar. She said that one of her favorite things to do and biggest passions is theatre and putting on a performance for an audience.
She has been in three NHS theatre productions and played guitar and sang at an Open Mic Night.
Her favorite class is geometry with Mr. Bettelon.
“He makes math easy and I look forward to going to class every day,” Nash said.
Bettelon said of Nash, “Her drive to succeed in geometry is exceptional. She’s willing to help others and participate in class. She put in lots of extra time to perform in Starmites and loves being a part of the theatre program. She’s a great student and an even better person.”
She said that one of her biggest role models and inspirations is her mother, Melody.
“She encourages me to do my best and she helped me find a passion for music and theater,” she said.
After graduating from NHS in a couple of years, Nash plans to go to college to pursue a career in theatre.
