The Williamson County Community Chorus will be holding auditions for its spring performance daily through January 8 at the Williamson County Enrichment Center in Franklin.
Formed in mid 2017, the Williamson County Community Chorus sings everything from major classical choral work to to spiritual choral work, and is mostly composed of adults and seniors from the Middle Tennessee area.
The chorus is under the direction Dr. Linda Bolding, an accomplished musician with more than 20 years of experience conducting adult choirs. Bolding carries a bachelor of music degree from Eastern New Mexico University; a certificate of performance in piano from Nurnberg, Germany, a master of music education degree from the University of Texas, a masters degree in educational administration from Texas State University and a doctorate in choral conducting from Columbia Pacific University. She has also worked with Dr. Elaine Brown who supplied choirs for the Philadelphia Orchestra.
Rehearsals for the chorus will take place every Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Williamson County Enrichment Center, with the spring performance scheduled for April 28.
